Is there anything cuter than this little dude? I met his parents in Austin this week while attending the Pinkletoes Workshop and absolutely fell in love!! He was such a sweetie, but I know where he got his sweetness…his mom and dad were just dolls as well! I loved meeting you guys!
The holidays can be such a blur….something happens right after Halloween and it’s like we step on an invisible people mover that WOOSHES us along and spits up out at the end of January. Not always in one piece, either. That must be why there were so many sessions this fall that I never got a chance to blog. So many sweet faces and loving families who never graced the pages of our dear blog. So, to compensate a bit for the WOOSH of the holidays, here is a family that just glows in their own selves. Tons of love, personality and cool. Perfect recipe for an amazing session!

I may have been on vacation, but it doesn’t mean I gave my camera a rest. After 3 months of agony at not being able to hold and snuggle my newborn niece, she came and paid us a Christmas visit! We were so excited! Isn’t she perfect?!

I’m doing a bit of “memory lane” with my 2010 sessions this weekend. Picking out favorites for a project and just remembering how much fun I’ve had with my families this year.
When I opened this family’s file I was immediately transported back to our session. I could hear the cacophony of sweet girly giggles. See the shimmering of tutus and fairy wings. Feel the love in which these girls are surrounded and felt so blessed to be able to do what I do.
I’m so inspired by sessions like these. Where my little subjects lead me on an amazing adventure through childhood and I’m just along for the ride. Then, together, we make images like these for their mom and dad to treasure for the rest of their lives.

I was combing the archives this weekend working on an end-of-year project and ran across one I have to share. Eye contact AND a smile from a 7 day old?! I should just hang it up now…it doesn’t get any better than this!
