As I sit here contemplating oil spill and 100 degree temperatures in June, I am reminded of a special evening not long a go, when the air was still crisp, but held with it a hope of sunshine of the season to come. Inspired by this promise of warm, lazy days, we grabbed our bug catchers and embarked on a spur-of-the-moment-after-dinner-nature-expedition. And then magic happened.
Well, if you’re anywhere around North Texas, you know about the crazy weather we’ve been having! Crazy wind, snow and rain have done a number on our Spring Mini Sessions. My clients have been fantastic about happily rescheduling - what can we do?! - but it has made for a very slow blog this month! No worries, I will share some more from the beautiful session that DID happen earlier this month is just a bit!
So, with that being said, the spring mini sessions are all filled and I can’t wait to finally get together when all the precious families who booked. We’ll make this work, don’t you worry! And, while the weather may have wreaked havoc on our outdoor mini sessions, one session that is never stopped by weather is sessions in my clients homes. While showcasing your family in your most natural and timeless of styles , we are conveniently impervious to North Texas Weather!
We are now booking for the last week in May and June we’re going to the beach for a week (or two if I win the battle!), so if you have designs on a family session for the summer, please let me know ASAP! I feel like fall will be here before we know it! (such is the mentality of a photographer!)

Oh my goodness! Will winter ever end?! I’m doing my best to show it the door by posting our spring mini sessions a bit early this year! They were officially announced in our winter newsletter last month and have had an amazing response! (It must be the unanimous desire to make it springtime soon!) So, now it’s time to let those of you who are not on the mailing list get in on the mini session action.
