From 85 of Thursday to 30 degrees on Saturday. Must be Spring in North Texas! Jon David and I couldn’t take it any longer retreated to the warmth of my car during Eleanor’s soccer game on Saturday. Thank goodness I had my camera with me to keep us entertained. These are technically completely imperfect…but so perfect to me!

I got to meet with my sweet little Cooper for an afternoon at the park. With the temperatures at 85 degrees, you’d hardly know it was still February in North Texas.
I will post more tomorrow, but I promised Little C’s mommy that I would get a couple up for her tonight. So, without further a do… Cooper at Play!

There’s nothing like photographing a baby who is a mere 16 hours old. And today, I got to do just that!
Meet Baby T. Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous? And look at all that beautiful hair!

Wasn’t it a beautiful day here in North Texas? I know it’s only February, but days like these give me an extreme case of Spring Fever! In an effort to quell my urge to throw on shorts and flip-flops, I thought I’d drop a hint that we’re going to be running a fantastic Spring Promotion for all sessions booked in March and April. That’s all I’m going to say for now…but check back soon to get the full scoop. There….I feel much better now…the espadrills can stay in the closet a few weeks longer!
And, since it would be rude to post without a pic, here’s my new fave from Baby A’s session last week. Sighhh….
I’m in LOVE. With a four month old. The kind of love that makes you second guess your “we’ve been blessed with two wonderful children; we don’t need any more” mantra. It’s bad. But with her stunning red hair and irresistible smile, you can’t hardly blame me.
I got to meet with the little love and her mommy this week for a lifestyle session in their home. Four months is a perfect age for lifestyle sessions. They are finally showing a personality of their own and really know how to turn on the charm!
First, Baby A showed me her “tummy time” skills and how she can really grab those crazy animals on her gym mat.
And then some Mommy and me time…
All that playing really can work a girl’s appetite up, so we stopped for a bite of cereal. I think she’s enjoying it!
After lunch, it was time for some quiet with Mommy. Pat the Bunny was the selected reading.
With a full belly and a cozy lap to snuggle in, it wasn’t long before Miss A’s drifted to sleep. Awwweeee.
See, I told you she’d make your heart pitter pat! You’re thinking dirty diapers and night time feedings don’t sound so bad now, aren’t you?!

When my nephew was down over the holidays, his mommy and I took all the cousins out for a quick photo shoot. And since, unfortunately family is always at the bottom of the “to do” list, I’m just getting around to posting these for her. We had quite a time trying to get all three cousins behaving at the same time. We finally gave up on my two and got some adorable shots of my almost 18 month old nephew. Yay Baby J!

I can’t believe it has been almost 2 months since I’ve posted to the CLP Blog! (Bad photographer!) I took a much needed extended break over the holidays and caught up with friends and family (and laundry!). I also got to sample some fabulous new products that I can’t wait to share with you all! Stay tuned to the blog (that I promise to post diligently on again!) to find out what I have in store for 2009! But, first, hold on to your hats….
Saturday was my first session of 2009, and it kicked us off with a bang! One of my favorite little Baby Planners turned one and CLP was there to capture all the fun. Let me tell you, those Hollywood babies have nothing on Baby C’s party planners! The whole shin-dig was the cooked up by the creative genius (and I don’t use that term lightly!), Stacey Murdoch at The Wildflower Floral Designs in Dallas. She was also the master mind behind Little C’s baby shower, so I am certain this woman can WOW any event!
The birthday guests were treated to a real live Big Top experience. From the decked out Big Top tent, to the circus animal center pieces, and, of course, their very own clown, this is a fiesta the babies will be talking about for years to come! Baby C was the perfect gentleman, sharing his cupcakes with his friends and sending them all home with wooden eleaphants to play with. I know everyone had a blast on his big day, and it was certainly one for the baby books!
