Hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful and joyful Thanksgiving holiday. Best wishes to you and yours. Everyone waiting on anything, please know they will all go out first thing on Monday. Now, back to hanging out with my family. But first, for this week’s Friday favorite…my most recent favorite…of one of my most favorite little “clients”.
I’m shutting down the computer and off to spend some quality time with my husband. :) But, before I run off, I wanted to post a super quick sneak peek of this morning’s session. Miss A is a newborn beauty!

Oh…she’s sooo sweet! I can’t help but post 2 more (can you tell I LOVE newborns?!) This first one we’re going to play up the perspective to show how she grows through this year. The second one is just so classic, timeless newborn baby.
And now you’ll know how she got to be so gorgeous! Here’s her precious mom and dad…

It’s time for our second Friday Favorites! This one is from my session with Baby C last Saturday. It was cold as blazes at Shops at Legacy and Baby C was one cold little dude. So, when it was time to take a snack break, we bundled him up in the gold chair and he was happy as could be in his mommy’s arms. :) Oh, and I love mom’s chuck taylors peeking out the bottom of the blanket…how COOL is that?!!

This afternoon I got to meet with my favorite little baby planner, Baby C, over at the Shops at Legacy. It was a windy, blustery day for a little dude to be out and about, but he held up like a champ. I promised Mom a super sneak peek tonight…so here’s one…I’ll do get some more out tomorrow.

I just had an idea…scary, I know! But, I was going through some old sessions and I decided I want to start doing something fun on my blog on Fridays. I always try and post the session images on the blog that I think will be my client’s favorites…the ones that really seem like what they were hoping to get out of our session, where they look the best, everyone in the frame, etc. Which is great, and I love these images, too, but this means that usually, my personal favorites never see the light of day.
So, starting today, I’m going to post one image every friday from a past session that really speaks to me. Odds are, it was not the client’s favorite and it probably posesses some inherent flaw that makes it a tad quirky. Probably said quirk is what sent my heart a pattering in the first place, though, because it makes the image REAL. Making ART out of REAL is what inspires me, so let me share my inspirations with you. It will be entertaining, if nothing else.
So, it will go like this…Friday morning I will post the image with a title. It will stay up over the weekend and on Monday I will explain why exactly I am so in love with that particular image. Oh, and I’d love to hear your comments, as well. I think this could really be a fun project!

This morning’s mini session was a bit different for me and I had a blast! Jeff and Julie are expecting their first baby in February and wanted holiday cards to let everyone know about this big event in their near future. Julie is positively radiant as the mommy-to-be. I loved her precious “baby girl” t-shirt. Jeff was such a good sport and I can tell already he’s going to be a fabulous daddy to this little girl…and she’s going to have him wrapped around that little baby finger!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the 3 most adorable boys today in Dallas. Let’s call them Sirs A, C, and G. A and C are 7 month old twins and G is the 2 year old biggie brother. Wow! These guys will keep you on your toes! They were so sweet, though, and just a dream to photograph. I promised mom a sneak peek tonight…so just one…but I’ll post a couple more tomorrow. I’m just plum worn out!

They’ve been in their new house just a couple months now, so it was so fun scoping out all the cool new places to shoot.
