CLP Holiday Update

Greetings blog readers! :)   Just wanted to touch base with everyone and fill you in on how the holiday availability is looking.  We are all but filled up!  I’ve actually got a spot available this Wednesday, October 29th and one available November 12th and then we are booked until 2009.  I can’t wait to meet everyone for their sessions and see what precious images we get of your families!  Thank you to all my holiday clients for chosing CLP to document your holiday memories this year!

I’ll leave you with some more images from the pumpkin patch last weekend.  This place is the coolest pumpkin patch around, and I’m hesitant to even share it’s name and location as I feel like it’s our own special place in our own backyard.  It’s the Pumpkin Express in Argyle and it’s awesome!   For five bucks each, you get a long train ride all around the patch, bounce houses, see-saws, hay mazes, wagon rides, a baby pumpkin and a lolli-pop!  Now that’s good family entertainment!

Holiday Card Session - Courtney Leigh Photography

I met up with the adorable Miss A and her sweet Mommy and Daddy for a quick mini session on this beautiful, sunshiney morning.  We were in pursuit of the perfect holiday card picture and…fingers crossed for luck…I think we got it!  Miss A was such a sweetie pie and all smiles and giggles.  For an 18 monther, she had it goin’ ON!  Especially in her precious stripey dress with the hot pink shoes.  What a doll.  Thanks for a great morning, guys.  Here’s your sneak peek!

A Morning at Lakeside - A Family Portrait Session

I got to meet with the adorable A family this morning at Lakeside Park in Dallas.  The weather was absolutely beautiful…an ideal Dallas morning.  Little Catherine and Jack were as perfect as the weather.  I’m quite familiar with their ages, as my Eleanor and Jon David are almost exactly the same age.  These guys behaved like champs!

They were all excited because, like last Saturday’s session, they were on their way to the Fair. The conversations centered around cotton candy, corny dogs, and a certain cherry limeade!   From the looks of their sneak peek, I’d say they deserve every treat they got!

The Cards

So many people have been asking me what cards we’re offering for the holidays this year.  I’ve finally gotten around to personalizing my samples, so here they are for all to see.  I’m really excited about them this year.  They’re hip, but still classic…very CLP!  For brevity’s sake, I’m only showing the front of these babies on the blog, but they have adorable backs to them, as well.   To view these and all the press printed cards we have available, go to the “proofing” section of the website and enter “holiday” the password.  You will be shown the full array of all our holiday cards.  All are 5×7 press printed front and back designs in either a smooth coated, linen, or watercolor paper.

Without further ado, the 2008 CLP Holiday Cards.  Let the holidays begin!

Have a great week everyone!  Mwah!
