When you’re expecting baby number 2, the last few days you have with your first baby are so precious. There’s a part of you that knows that, for your little family of three, things are about to get very different. Good different, joyful different, so-incredibly-blessed-different, but different none-the-less.

With this in mind, I met with my favorite little red-headed baby planner last week. She’s going to be a big sister very soon and we wanted to capture her sweet, crazy, funny, stubborn, cuddly, playful, almost-two-year-old little self a bit before the big arrival. She has grown so much and is full of so much personality! We let her take the lead and I think what we ended up with was a gorgeous session showcasing an amazing family who is about to get a little bigger. This is what Lifestyle Photography is all about…making Art out of Life.

Look who’s on the move! I just love watching baby planners grow! We got to visit with Miss M last week and boy has she changed in 3 months. Crawling, babbling away and loving her new walker toy that she just HAD to show off for me!Hanging out with her obviously two favorite people!Check out those new teeths!It was so great to see you guys again! I spent the morning with this sweetie pie last week and had so a blast! There’s a lot of personality in this little 19 month old and he gave it all he had! First we played in his room a bit and he showed me all his favorite toys…

and ended up with some fun with mom and dad at the park!

As I sit here contemplating oil spill and 100 degree temperatures in June, I am reminded of a special evening not long a go, when the air was still crisp, but held with it a hope of sunshine of the season to come. Inspired by this promise of warm, lazy days, we grabbed our bug catchers and embarked on a spur-of-the-moment-after-dinner-nature-expedition. And then magic happened.

After nine months of waiting for this sweet baby girl, I was so excited to finally meet Baby H last weekend! Her big brother has been a baby planner of mine for the last two years, so her arrival was met with much excitement around here! We grabbed a few maternity images at Big Brother C’s 2 year session. Isn’t mommy beautiful?And one month later…Isn’t she gorgeous?!and a few of big brother showing off his big boy bed..so sweet…Hand in hand.Congratulations again, W family! She’s a keeper! MWAH!

I can’t believe how fast 6 months flies by and how much a little newborn can change in that short amount of time! Miss M was just a tiny thing back last October, but look at her now!
