A Get Together…

A few weeks back (yes, I’m turning into a lazy blogger!) I had a wonderful opportunity to meet up with some other talented photographers in my area. Our goal was to do a swap of sorts, with our kids, as photographer’s kids are famous for being impossible for their own mom’s to shoot. Or, as Jon David explained to his Daddy with a mouth-full of Wataburger that night, “OUR Mommy took pictures of THEIR boys and girls and THEIR Mommies took pictures of US!”!

It was a real blast and the kids all had so much fun. There was much chaos, some petticoats, and the obligatory stop at the ice cream shop. Thank you guys, again for meeting up and we must do it again very soon. Here’s you sneak peeks!

The chaos~!

And what a cutie he is, too!

Baby C did so good at his 3 month session and put up with his crazy photographer and the multiple outfit changes like a trooper, but when he was done, he said lights out and that was it!

We had so much fun on Friday, we met again on Saturday with his little girlfriend Miss. A, who was just a perfect little doll, at the Chapel in the Woods on TWU Campus for some Mother’s Day Mini Sessions.

A Beautiful Day at the Park

Sunday one of my favorite clients, Mr. G, turned one and I got to go shoot the festivities. I love shooting birthdays…especially the first ones…because it really gives the mom and dad a chance to actually be party of the party. You know, when so when they look back 20 years from now, they’re actually IN the pictures!

It was an absolutely perfect day and G’s mommy didn’t miss a detail…polkadot cup cakes, personalized party hats, ham and brie sandwiches…she had it covered! Plus, the party was a bit of a mini family reunion with folks traveling from as far as Austin and Arkansas. All five of little G’s cousins were in attendance, so we made sure and caught all of them together before they went off and grew up some more! It was so great to see Mr. G again…he was barely sitting up the last time I shot him, now he’s cruising around on two feet…and going to be a big brother here in July, too…crazy! As a mom who was also preggers at her oldest first birthday, I can assure you, you guys are in for a wild ride! : )

So, hang on and enjoy the rest of your sneak peak….  : )

All the cousins together…aren’t they beautiful?!
